Glenartney is an immaculate, family run, boutique style guest house in the centre of Brodick with ten letting rooms. Built in the 1920s, the guest house retains a number of original features and has been sympathetically decorated to a very high standard. As a lifestyle choice, the current owners are trading on a seasonal basis – from March through till October – with excellent occupancy rates for the trading months. Completing the letting accommodation are two further ensuite bedrooms, Iorsa and Tanna. Additionally on this floor are two large store cupboards and a guest bathroom.

There are two other bedrooms, used by the current owners for private accommodation, accessed by the rear stairway. These rooms share a large bathroom at this level.

To the rear of the plot, the laundry room, workshop, drying room and log store provide useful facilities in the running of the guest house. With some refurbishment, the one bedroom unit with bathroom could provide further accommodation or an additional revenue stream.

With the stunning aspect, immaculate presentation and extensive outbuildings, it is clear that Glenartney can continue to operate as a highly regarded guest house whilst providing the owners with an excellent return. In addition, there are numerous possibilities for the new owners to grow the business further which include, extending to all year round bookings, becoming a restaurant with rooms destination, or hosting small weddings/functions.
