Further up there are timber trellises and fencing and gravel steps giving spectacular sea views and leading to patio and lawn areas where there is a summerhouse. All along are mature trees, shrubs and bushes. Further up again you come to a ‘Secret Garden’ with a lily pond with ornamental fish and a gazebo. At the top you are met by uninterrupted views of the Firth of Clyde and beyond from the Kyles of Bute to the Ayrshire coast. It cannot be stressed enough the sheer delight that this garden brings, it is full of mature trees, shrubs, bushes, flowering plants, flora and foliage as well as twisting paths and gravel steps leading from one delight to the next.
